!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CAMPS !!

WHAT TO BRING TO A SPORTS CHALLENGE CAMP

  • A nutritional packed lunch to be provided by the parents / carer, with plenty of fruit. For allergy reasons, we ask packed lunches to be nut free.

  • Plenty to drink. We encourage our children to stay away from fizzy/sugary drinks - Bottles of plain water are provided if children forget a drink. Facilities to refill bottles are also on site.

  • Appropriate clothing for all weather occasions. We ask that clothing is suitable for the children to play sports / games in. Joggers, shorts, leggings and t-shirts are just an example.

  • Sun protection, suitable for the individual child. Please be aware, for health and hygiene purposes, Sports Challenge do not supply sun creams and sum cream protection cannot be shared between other children.

  • Appropriate footwear for both inside and outside use, can be made specific to activities running on the camp, we prefer trainers.

  • Shin pads must be worn for all Football Activities.

  • Swimming kits for children ages 8+ for Evesham, Pershore &  Leisure Centres.

  • Spare Change of clothes.

We group the children in 2 brackets, Party Poppers where the children are aged from 5yrs to 7yrs & Party Rockers aged from 8yrs to 14yrs. Whilst being in these too bracketed groups, we divide into further groups to allow the children to make new friends and work closely with others in a more sociable environment. We ratio on a 1:8 (ages 5-7) & 1:16 (ages 8 & over).

ARRIVAL AND LEAVING OUR CAMPS

We have a flexible booking option for the arrival and end of day to our camps. Upon arrival, it is our policy that all children must be supervised by a parent, family member or career, It is this adult who is responsible for the sign in of the child/children. The same approach is taken to the end of day sign out. No child is to leave the premises unless picked up by the adult that signed them in. If the adult whom is picking up the child is different to who signed them in, a member of the Sports Challenge team are to be informed immediately with a name and contact number of that adult.

Please note, all children under the age of 8 are to always be collected by an adult.

Children over the age of 8, may leave our camp unaccompanied, however this MUST be agreed upon between the parent and a member of staff. We do ask for this permission to also be in a written statement. We have always been flexible on our policies of walk on’s but due to our demand we now encourage parents to book before turning up on a venue to save disappointment as we cater our programmes around the number of children and staff, So all leave with an enjoyable and memorable day. We have a new policy in place No Pay, No Play.
