Early Years Active
The tailored sports and physical development programme aimed at giving early years children the best possible start. Built around the Early Years Foundation Stage framework the programme has been devised with help of reputable nursery leaders, making sure it works perfectly and achieves the targets of developing and inspiring young children.
The knowing that with these sessions, your chosen nursery has taken action to give your child the best possible development at a young age. Parents will be able to see the evidence of these sessions through their child's development journal understanding the importance of all aspects within the programme.
With all parents the health of their child is paramount and together with nurseries we want to be able to offer this, to give parents piece of mind that high quality, driven staff are creating an environment where development can flourish.
We deliver Early Years Active in 6 week block sessions. The high quality sessions have been designed to cover vital sections of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Communication and Language are all areas that are developed within the programme.
Tracking progress is simple with the tracking and monitoring sheet, devised to track development of every child within the sessions. Information can then be input to pupil portfolios and online parent sharing journals such as tapestry. allowing for an all inclusive programme.
MANAGER - CORNMEADOW EARLY YEARS & FAMILIES
"Early Years Active programme has been a real asset to our educational programmes for pre-school children. To have a coach running and facilitating our physical development sessions and staff being able to observe, monitor and track each childs development and progress through the Early Years Foundation stage areas, supports and helps children reach their full potential. The Coaches are passionate and enthusiastic when delivering the sessions, they praise, encourage and support the children to have a go and challenge their abilities. Exercise and healthy choices is something we promote as a setting and for our children to learn those habits from an early age, will only encourage life long attitudes and taking care of themselves for the future"
